To ensure we achieve this goal, we devote
considerable resources to increasing the number of products and services
obtained from qualified diverse business suppliers, including minority and
women-owned business enterprises.
How To Become a Registered Burger King Corporation
Diverse Supplier:
One practical way to showcase our commitment to
diversity is by providing our teams with easy access to information on all
registered diverse suppliers on BKC’s Supplier Diversity Database.
In order to become a registered vendor on the BKC Supplier Diversity Database,
please read and follow the steps and guidelines outlined below:
Step 1: Do you qualify as a minority or woman-owned
business?
A Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Women Business Enterprise (WBE) is a
business venture that is at least 51% owned and controlled by a minority or
woman, respectively.
For the purposes of the BKC’s Supplier Diversity Database, a vendor
-
Can
be of African American, Hispanic American, Native American, Asian Pacific
American or Asian Indian American descent
-
Must
be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident
-
Must
be certified by a third party certifying agency accepted by BKC such as a
regional office of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC),
Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) or National Women Business
Owners Corporation (NWBOC).
Step 2: Obtaining Third Party Certification
Third party certification is a pre-condition to doing business with BKC as part
of our Supplier Diversity Program.
BKC’s preferred method of certification is through a regional affiliate of the
NMSDC (www.nmsdc.org)
for MBEs, and the WBENC (www.wbenc.org)
or the NWBOC (www.nwboc.org)
for WBEs.
Step 3: Registration Process for Burger King
Corporation’s Supplier Diversity Database
If you have third-party certification as an MBE or WBE, we invite you to
register in our Supplier Diversity Database. This sourcing database is
available to those in the BURGER KING® system involved in developing supplier
relationships.
Please note: Registering your minority or woman-owned company in our Supplier
Diversity Database does not, in any way, constitute an official
approval of your company, services or products. Furthermore, the completion and
submission of this form is not a guarantee of business.
If you are registering for the first time, click the “New Registration”
button below to continue. If you have previously registered and want to update
or make changes to your information, click the “Update / Continue Registration”
button below. Your completed questionnaire will assist our team in evaluating
your firm’s capabilities relative to the needs within the BURGER KING® system.
Additionally, as a condition of database registration, we request that you
report to us your company's sales to the BURGER KING® System. This reporting
will assist us in properly tracking diverse supplier purchases and your
cooperation is appreciated. Please report these numbers on an annual basis by
updating your company's file on the database by clicking the button below.
If you would like to print the questionnaire in its entirety prior to
completing it, please click the “Print Questionnaire” button.
The form should ONLY be filled out if your company qualifies as a certified
Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and/or Women Business Enterprise (WBE). All
other suppliers may contact us at
(305) 378-3000.
If you have any questions, please call our Minority
