Thank you for your interest in Burger King
Corporation’s (BKC) Supplier Diversity Program. At BKC, one of our most
important diversity goals is to be inclusive of qualified diverse suppliers.
To ensure we achieve this goal we devote
considerable resources to increasing the number of products and services
obtained from qualified diverse business partners, including minority and women
owned business enterprises.
How To Become a Registered Burger King Corporation Diverse Supplier:
One practical way to showcase our commitment to diversity is by providing our
teams with easy access to information on all registered diverse suppliers on
BKC’s Supplier Diversity Database.
In order to become a registered vendor on the BKC’s Supplier Diversity Database,
please read and follow the steps and guidelines outlined below:
Step 1: Do you qualify as a minority or woman owned business?
A Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Women Business Enterprise (WBE) is a business
venture that is at least 51% owned and controlled by a minority or woman, respectively.
For the purposes of the BKC’s Supplier Diversity Database, a minority
Can be of African American, Hispanic American, Native American,
Asian Pacific American or Asian Indian American descent
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be certified by a third party certifying agency accepted by BKC
such as a regional office of the National Minority Supplier Development
Council (NMSDC) , Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) or
National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC).
Step 2: Obtaining Third Party Certification
Third party certification is a pre-condition to doing business with BKC
if you are a minority or woman-owned business.
BKC’s preferred method of certification is through a regional affiliate of the NMSDC
(www.nmsdc.org)
for MBEs, and the WBENC
(www.wbenc.org) or the NWBOC
(www.nwboc.org)
for WBEs.
Step 3: Registration Process for Burger King Corporation’s Supplier Diversity Database
If you have third-party certification as an MBE or WBE,
we invite you to register in our Supplier Diversity Database.
This sourcing database is available to all BURGER KING® system personnel
involved in developing supplier relationships.
Please note: Registering your minority or woman owned company in our Supplier Diversity Database
does not, in any way, constitute an official approval of your company, services or products.
Furthermore, the completion and submission of this form is not a guarantee of business,
but only an introduction to your company.
Additionally, as a condition of database registration, we request that you report to us your company's
sales to the BURGER KING® System. This reporting will assist the Company in properly tracking diverse
supplier purchases and your cooperation is appreciated. Please report these numbers on a quarterly
